Prune the Apps on Your Phone
Take half an hour to go through the apps on your phone and ask yourself a simple question: Which ones improve your life, and which ones mainly consume your attention?
Start by removing the most distracting apps. As explained in the related tip, we strongly recommend removing social media apps from your device.
Then consider deleting apps you rarely use. The goal is not to have fewer apps for the sake of it, but to keep only those that genuinely add value to your life.
We also recommend making app pruning a regular habit. New apps tend to accumulate over time, and what was useful a year ago may no longer deserve a place on your phone today. Consider reviewing your apps at least once a year.
As a bonus, a leaner phone often feels faster, has more available storage, and may even enjoy better battery life.
